Window & interior graphics

Cut vinyl, etched manifestation, one-way vision and printed wall graphics — the cheapest square metre of advertising you own, and the one most businesses waste. Applied on site, out of hours if you trade in the day.

01 / Films

Four films, four
different jobs.

Glazing has to do several things at once — draw people in, keep some privacy, stop anyone walking into it, and still let daylight through. The film you choose decides which of those you get.

Cut vinyl

Cut vinyl

Individual letters and shapes, plotted and weeded, with no background. The crispest option and the one that looks least like a sticker.

Etched manifestation

Etched manifestation

Frost-effect film in a band at eye level. It gives desks privacy and satisfies the requirement to make large glazing visible.

Offices, clinics
One-way vision

One-way vision

Perforated print — a full graphic from outside, a view out from inside. The way to fill a window without blacking out the room.

Retail, showrooms
Full print

Full print

Solid printed film across the whole pane, inside or out. Used where the window is a poster site rather than a view.

Vacant units, promotions

02 / Interiors

Inside the unit,
not just the glass.

Walls, partitions, floors and doors all take film. It is the fastest way to make a fit-out look finished, and it goes on after the trades have left rather than holding them up.

Walls

Printed wall graphics

Full-height printed panels or textured wallpaper film, hung seamlessly and trimmed to sockets and skirtings.

Partitions

Glass manifestation

Two bands at the heights Building Regs asks for, or a pattern that does the same job without looking like compliance.

Floors

Anti-slip floor graphics

R10-rated laminate for directions, queue markers and warehouse zoning that survives a scrubber.

Doors

Entrance sets

Push and pull, opening hours, card symbols and door numbers — small work, and the detail people actually read.

03 / Floors

Floor graphics that survive
the scrubber.

A floor graphic takes more abuse than anything else we make — trolleys, boots, cleaning chemicals and a rotary scrubber every night. The laminate matters more than the print, and the surface it goes down on matters more than either.

Wayfinding & routes

Arrows, walkway edges and zone markings that keep pedestrians off the forklift route. Cut to shape or printed as a full panel, whichever reads better underfoot.

Retail & queueing

Queue markers, distance spots, department markers and promotional decals. Applied overnight and lifted cleanly at the end of the campaign.

Safety & compliance

Hazard hatching, fire exit routes, PPE reminders and demarcation to the site rules — printed to match the signage on the wall above it.

Specification

We will not put film on a floor that will not hold it. Sealed concrete, vinyl and tile take it well; bare, dusty or freshly power-floated concrete does not, and we will tell you so before you order.

04 / Sequence

Measured, printed, applied.

01

Measure

Every pane measured individually — glazing is rarely as square as the drawing says.

02

Visual

A photo of your frontage with the film dropped in, so you can see the balance before printing.

03

Print & cut

Printed and laminated in house, or plotted and weeded for cut work, then taped up ready to hang.

04

Apply

Glass cleaned and scraped first, film applied wet on large panes. Early mornings if you trade in the day.

05

Leave it clean

Backing paper and offcuts taken away, glass polished, and a care sheet left with you.

05 / Recent

On the glass.

06 / Budget

Small job, and still
worth doing properly.

Film is priced by pane, by access and by how much of your trading day it costs you. Send us a photo of the frontage and we will tell you what it needs — including when a smaller graphic will read better than a bigger one.

Step 01

Send a photo

Straight on, from across the road. That alone is usually enough for a sensible ballpark.

Step 02

See it in place

We drop the artwork onto your photo so you can judge coverage before committing.

Step 03

One fixed price

Supplied and fitted, out of hours included. No extra for early starts.

Talk to the person who will
actually apply it.

Ten minutes usually settles which film, how much of the glass to cover and when we can be in and out.

07 / Questions

The ones we
get asked most.

Do I need permission for window graphics?

Usually not for graphics applied inside the glass, which is one of the reasons film is such a useful option. Externally applied film on a listed building or in a conservation area can be a different matter — we check before quoting.

Where does manifestation have to go?

Large uninterrupted glazing needs marking at two heights so it is visible to people standing and seated. We set the bands to the Approved Document K guidance and show them on the drawing rather than guessing on the day.

Will film damage the glass or the paint?

No. Glass is the easiest surface there is, and film lifts off cleanly with heat. On painted walls we use a low-tack product and test an area first — freshly painted plaster needs four weeks before anything goes on it.

Can you fit outside trading hours?

Yes, and at no extra cost. Most shopfront film goes on between six and nine in the morning so you open on time with the job finished.
